My Front Porch has been a little blah, so I was on a mission to make it cute and summery!
First project a new wreath, so I decided to make a Yarn Wreath
with some cute Felt Flowers and even an H to customize it!
Supplies Needed:- Pool Noodle (dollar general $1)
- Yarn ( prices vary.. I got mine at walmart spent about $5 on two colors)
- Wooden Letter (walmart $0.97)
- Felt (walmart $0.94) depends on how big and many flowers you want though...
- Tape
- Hot Glue
- Scissors
Step One: Make your pool noodle into a circle and tape it. (i cut mine down a little bit because I wanted a little smaller, but I didn't cut much off.. that's totally up to you)
Step Two: Wrap the pool noodle in yarn. This step is a little time consuming but just do while watching your favorite show and it makes it go much faster!!
Step Three: Wrap your Letter in yarn. Some letters are easier than others, just figure out the best way for your letter.
Step Four: Make your Felt Flowers... just follow my tutorial HERE.
Step Five: Hot glue your Felt Flowers and Letter onto your Wreath.
NOW JUST HANG IT UP & ADMIRE YOUR WORK!!!
These wreaths look cute anywhere and they make great gifts for under $10.
